Mary Theresa is a singer, songwriter, and storyteller whose voice carries the ache and beauty of redemption. After years performing under names Queen Pepper, Queen Mary the Artist, and Mary McKay, her return as Mary Theresa marks not just a new chapter, but a homecoming, a quiet turning toward Jesus and the peace she had been searching for all along.

Rooted in a lifetime of music from church and school choirs to jazz studies and international stages, Mary’s sound now draws from sacred stillness, gospel warmth, and the raw honesty of lived experience. Her songs are prayers for weary hearts, born from silence, surrender, and the long road of healing.

Once driven by ambition, Mary now sings from rest. Each lyric is a testimony of grace found in the ruins, of beauty for ashes, of light that still breaks through. Through sacred house concerts and reflective gatherings, she creates space for others to encounter the presence of God through story and song, not as an act of performance, but as worship.
This is more than music.

It’s an altar built from everything she thought was lost, and every note is her way of saying: He brought me home.
